A celebrity connection was associated with this project. Located in central South Kensington the property was purchased as a 2 bed maisonette. It had the benefit of some interesting planning history with an old roof garden the full width of the entire property.Thus RBKC had to give planning consent retrospectively for the roof garden. Hugh Grant owned the garage under the maisonette. Upon completion of works the purchaser of the property was able to buy the garage from Hugh Grant to incorporate into the freehold. The adjacent house No 6 was once the home and studio of the famous artist Francis Bacon.
